Introduction
Following our needs assessment, it became evident that the absence of structured training programs has resulted in a deficiency in disaster response capabilities within our community. Consequently, the planning committee has prioritized the development and implementation of comprehensive capacity-building initiatives, including scenario-based training exercises and workshops, to equip stakeholders with the necessary skills and knowledge for effective disaster management. Understanding of disaster triage procedures. Proficiency in proper communication methods during disasters. Awareness and implementation of disaster mitigation strategies. This assessment highlights areas where additional training and support are needed to enhance disaster preparedness and response capabilities, ultimately improving the quality of response to disasters and crises.
Objectives
