Introduction

Based on our survey findings, we identified a gap in effective communication skills among healthcare staff, which can be addressed through targeted training programs and workshops. Survey data revealed that a significant portion of healthcare staff expressed difficulties in communicating effectively with their colleagues, leading to misunderstandings, conflicts, and decreased teamwork. Many respondents cited challenges in articulating their ideas, active listening, and providing constructive feedback. To address this gap, we can develop tailored communication skills training sessions that focus on enhancing both verbal and non-verbal communication abilities. These workshops can cover topics such as active listening techniques, assertive communication, conflict resolution strategies, and fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect within the healthcare team. By providing staff with the necessary tools and skills to communicate effectively, we can improve collaboration.
