Introduction

This comprehensive course equips healthcare professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to effectively prepare for and respond to a wide range of medical and environmental crises. Participants will explore real-world emergency scenarios including pandemics, natural disasters, and mass casualty events. The course emphasizes evidence-based protocols for triage, patient care, interprofessional collaboration, and communication during emergencies.

Through interactive simulations, case studies, and scenario-based learning, participants will develop strategies for crisis leadership, evaluate existing response plans, and implement improvements. Special focus is given to post-crisis recovery and the mental health of both healthcare staff and patients.
