We found there is a learning gap in improving the quality of response to disasters and crises as follows: - Limited understanding of disaster preparedness and recovery. - Incomplete knowledge of various risk reduction measures. - Unclear definitions of disaster response, recovery, and mitigation strategies, affecting the ability to choose and implement appropriate strategies in different contexts. - Insufficient explanation of disaster mitigation strategies. - Lack of clarity on challenges in decision-making during disasters.
