Introduction
The scientific committee found there is a lack of knowledge among the target group about dietary, eating disorders, and Psychotherapy as follow:
lack a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental concepts, causes, and risk factors related to eating disorders, as well as how to provide nutritional care processes effectively limited knowledge about the unique nutritional needs and challenges faced by individuals, especially children, with developmental disorders, including considerations such as food intolerance shortage knowledge about essential stages of the Nutritional Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation Deficit information about how to apply the Nutritional Care Process in real healthcare cases, particularly for eating disorders like Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders Weakness awareness about how to diagnose a range of psychiatric disorders, including various nutritional conditions
Objectives
- Identify the fundamental concepts, key causes, and risk factors associated with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge-eating disorder. how to provide nutritional care process
- Clarify the unique nutritional needs and challenges faced by individuals and children with Down syndrome and other developmental disorders (food intolerance..etc)
- Describe the essential stages of the Nutritional Care Process, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation
- Demonstrate practical Nutritional Care Process applications in real healthcare cases, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, and Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders, to enhance understanding and application4-
- Explain the eating disorders, including their causes, symptoms, and the role of psychotherapy in their treatment and recovery
- Clarify how to diagnose a range of psychiatric disorders, including different nutritional conditions such as eating disorders, anorexia nervosa... etc using ICD-10 and DSM-5 criteria, and apply appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions.
- Define and clarify the Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder and Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorders
